Steve McKenzie has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University. Steve has served as the Therapy Services Director at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Woodinville, WA as well as the Hippotherapy Program Director at The National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy in Woodside, CA. Currently he works at Seattle Children’s Hospital in the Sports Physical Therapy department and leads the Athletes with Disabilities program. He has also worked in the pediatric out-patient neurodevelopmental setting. Steve currently serves on the AHA, Inc Board of Directors and previously served in a variety of roles including AHA, Inc Region 9 and Washington State Representative, the PATH, Intl Program and Standards Oversight Committee, Chair of the PATH, Intl Health and Education Committee and Co-editor of the Horse, Humans, and Health Department of Palaestra Magazine. Steve enjoys going on trail rides, team penning, and playing soccer.
