Tina is the owner of Speech Language Pathology in Motion, located on Long Island, NY. Tina’s practice serves pediatric and adult patients with speech, language and feeding difficulties. Tina’s work with horses and individuals with disabilities began in 1993. Since opening her practice in 2011, Tina has enjoyed seeing her patients benefit from interactions with animals and from the use of equine movement in speech treatment when incorporated into a comprehensive plan of care. When she is not working, Tina enjoys spending time riding. Her riding background is in equitation, hunter/jumpers, and combined training with her current focus being in dressage.
Tina holds licenses in New York, Vermont and Arkansas as a speech language pathologist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication sciences and disorders from Molloy College in 2005, and obtained a Masters of Arts degree in speech language pathology from Long Island University-C.W. Post in 2007. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Tina has been recognized as a board certified hippotherapy clinical specialist (HPCS) since 2011. Tina has previously worked as an adaptive horseback riding instructor and is a PATH Intl. registered instructor and therapist.
