The Vestibular Connection

The current pandemic of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) remains a rapidly developing situation. We wish to minimize our membership’s exposure to this virus and abide by the current international guidelines for the COVID-19 Virus. As such, we have opted to reschedule and reorganize our present courses that have been scheduled in April and May and we will re assess our courses scheduled for June by May 2020.
The AHA, Inc. Education Committee held a Special Meeting last Saturday to address the COVID 19 Virus.
Our AHA, Inc, Faculty and AHA, Inc Office Staff are restructuring these courses to have an online (web based live) component and an onsite practical component (that will take place later in the year). AHA, Inc. Education Committee will be posting on our website as well as notifying our membership and healthcare community of the adjustments and details for course participation and completion. We hope to have this information out by a target date of May 1, 2020.
The courses presently included are:
April 2020
Part l @ Little Bit in Redmond, Washington Scheduled to begin 4/2/2020
Part l @ Exceptional Equestrians of the Missouri Valley, Washington, Missouri Scheduled to begin 4/27/2020

Part l @ Ride On Ranch in Lovettsville, VA Scheduled to begin 5/9/2020
Horse Connection Course @ Saddle-Up! in Franklin, TN Scheduled to begin 5/17/2020

We expect to have available dates for the online component that will be with a web based platform by May 1, 2020 as well as the on site component dates. The onsite dates will begin when the restrictions and threat of COVID-19 is lifted. Therapists who attend the web based Part l will have the option of selecting their onsite location from a variety of sites available and are not restricted to the site they originally registered.
  • The Horse Connection Course will have an online web-based live componant and an onsite component at the same location originally registered at a later date.
