Course Description:
Join us for a webinar discussing a medical model of incorporating hippotherapy into physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services. In the United States, hippotherapy, is regarded as a standard therapy practice tool for pediatric and adult populations with disabilities. The context is intended to promote understanding of how medical quality equine movement can be incorporated as a treatment tool into standard therapy services. Content will be presented in English.
Intended Audience:
Occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathology professionals currently utilizing hippotherapy or those who are interested in incorporating medical-quality equine movement into their therapy practice.
