Jeanni Bonine MS, OTR/L, HPCS, CTRI

Jeanni Bonine is an occupational therapist, lifelong equestrian, and passionate advocate for the integration of equine movement in therapy. Inspired by early experiences in 4H, she pursued a degree in occupational therapy with the goal of using equine movement therapeutically—and in the process, discovered a deep love for the profession as a wholeShe is the founder and director of Heightened Potential Co. in Rockwood, TN, where she leads a team of occupational and physical therapists providing in-home and community-based OT and PT services as well as services in natural setting integrating equine movement. Her clinical work focuses on sensory integration, early intervention, mealtime/ feeding, and family-centered care/coaching.  Jeanni holds a post-professional Master of Science in Complementary & Alternative Medicine with a focus on nutrition and a graduate certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. She is a board-certified Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist, a certified provider in Ayres Sensory Integration (SIPT), and serves as part-time faculty at Northern Illinois University.

As a PATH Intl. CTRI and Registered therapist, Jeanni brings extensive horse experience to her clinical perspective. She actively rides dressage, participates in clinics with renowned trainers, practices natural horsemanship, liberty, and enjoys equestrian camping.  Jeanni also serves as Executive Editor of EQUILIBRIUM magazine and brings a well-rounded, holistic approach to the AHA, Inc. faculty and the broader therapy community.
