Jessica Perkins, MS, OTR/L, HPCS is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a M.S. in Occupational Therapy. She has a B.S. in Equine Science from the University of Kentucky where she was a founding member of the University of Kentucky Eventing and Dressage Team. Jessica has been involved with horses for over 20 years and has experience in a variety of disciplines including eventing, dressage, combined driving, vaulting, showmanship, western pleasure/equitation, and mounted games. She has traveled to Germany, France, England, and Wales representing the USA on mounted games teams and is a C-3 graduate of Keeneland Pony Club. Jessica began volunteering with an OT and PT incorporating hippotherapy in 2006 and has been incorporating equine movement into her practice since 2016. She specializes in working with pediatric clients at Marshall Pediatric Therapy in Lexington, KY and provides occupational therapy services incorporating equine movement in her private practice, Transitions Occupational Therapy, LLC. Jessica became a clinical specialist in Hippotherapy (HPCS) in 2017. When not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
